Not sure if real life names and places will work in the Champions Universe but here goes.

Adam Tiberius Jackson was born in Ottumwa, Iowa 39 years, 2 months and 7 days before the start of the campaign on the same day that the MegaCorp Power Processing plan went live a few miles behind his family’s property. The only son of a farming family Adam was a typical boy living a typical smallish town life until he was ten years old.

On a rainy and cold winter day his family’s station wagon was struck by a MegaCorp waste truck and his father was killed. Adam and his mother had severe injuries but were able to recover. A nasty legal battle followed that saw he and his mother forced to settle for far less than than the original suit called for.

High school years saw Adam develop the amazingly common desire to leave his small town for the bright lights of the big city. Using what was left of the settlement Adam was able to get in to UCLA where he completed his four year degree in six 1/2 years. After a variety of seemingly random majors he settled on Meteorology, believe it or not. To Adam a weather man seemed the perfect job. Pretty famous without much work at all, particularly in Southern California.

With lukewarm determination and a barely noticeable work ethic he was able to land a low level and even lower paying job with the ABC affiliate in Los Angeles; KABC-TV Channel 7. Finally Adam began to work hard and progressed through the cut throat environment of Southern California meteorology, finally landing the Chief Meteorologist position at channel seven.

It was now that he married Annette Jennings after meeting her at a fund raiser for the Timberlawn Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center. He remembered her as a once unapproachable UCLA cheerleader and had even followed her short lived film and lingerie “modeling” career. Together they came the power couple of the Southern California Meteorological society scene.

Soon “Get Up America!”; ABC’s long running morning news show came calling and Adam Jackson became a household name. But Adam’s star was still rising and after a few more years he signed on with the Global News Network as an Ecological/Meteorological Investigative Reporter.

Adam travelled the globe reporting on disasters both natural and corporate. But fame of this magnitude does not come with a price and his rock solid marriage fell apart. Unable to keep his wife’s repeated stints in jail and rehab a secret he divorced her, once again falling victim to the legal system. The alimony settlement for her is substantial.

Unbowed and undaunted Adam left GNN and began his own cable television series: Action Jackson: Into the DANGER zone. Exploring and reporting on the effects of big industry on nature, Jackson became a mega star with his trademark quote:

Looking into the camera through his tribal head wrap or Scott blizzard goggles or his gas mask he would say…”I’m Action Jackson…follow me into the DANGER zone” and leap out of a plane or ski off a steep ledge or kayak down rapids.

The Danger Zone held the number one spot on cable television for many years but lately has seen it’s rating slip. Worried that his time in the spotlight is slipping Adam has tried bigger and splashier shows and now finds himself sitting in the Wayne County Metro Airpot with his constant companions, his agent Ben Rothstein and his producer Kathy Kennedy mulling over their next adventure.

((some OOC knowledge for approval of the GMs))

Action Jackson has already been a super hero. He is, infact, “Kilroy” the eco-terrorist. Driven by the events in his childhood AJ became involved with Greenpeace during his college years.

Using his celebrity status he is able to learn details and gain access to places and information to further his cause. Kilroy even takes his fight to cyberspace, attacking automated industrial processes, fouling up record keeping and even diverting funds.

Kilroy has even been caught on film wearing a WWII style long snooted gas mask, fedora and trench coat.

Leaving the iconic “Kilroy was here” graffiti at the scenes of his deeds he has become a hero in the ecoterrorist underground.

((Actually I may change the Kilroy look a little bit. I am sure many of you know that picture is actually the comic book “hero” Sandman. I think I might make it more modern. Insted of a Fedora go with a tied down bandanna or another hat of some kind. And insted of a trench coat go with military BDUs or something. I don’t want to copy Sandman exactly, but the gas mask will stay the same, that looks like Kilroy))
